Hello All,
I have an Impact Air-Cushioned Heavy Duty Light Stand - Black, 9.5' (2.9m) http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ned_Heavy_Duty_Light.html (external link)

and wanted to purchase a set of LOCKING casters. This stand has leg tips of 25mm. I looked at the Paul C. Buff set http://www.paulcbuff.com/lsca25mm.php (external link) but according to Buff Technical Support, only 1 of the 3 casters in the set has a lock. This doesn’t make sense. Wouldn't there be less of a chance of accidently moving the position of the setup if all 3 wheels were able to be locked?

To those of you who have experience, I’d appreciate your insight.

Two locking casters are required to hold a setup; one locking caster merely prevents the stand from rolling down an incline! I have a pair of large Matthews rollers, and every caster has a lock.

It's entirely possible that the threaded rod that mounts the caster is standard; at least that's what it looks like to me, judging from the pics at bh. So, what you do there is get the casters, take the wheel off of one of them, and go over to Harbor Freight where they are almost guaranteed to have locking ones that will fit.
That said, Home Depot's selection of casters has expanded greatly over the past year or so. Would be worth a trip there, too.

You don't show your location, but if you are in the US you might want to call Ed at Cheetahstand.com a call and see if his accessory locking 3 caster set would fit a 25mm stand leg. I purchased a set of these to use with his boom stand and they were reasonably priced and high quality. All 3 have functional locking mechanisms.
