I just read the review of the 7D Mark II on The-Digital-Picture.com:

I've always found his reviews to be reasonable, practical and thorough. His review is very positive on the 7D II. Nice to see.

The tl;dr version:

"At a summary level: Stuff a Canon EOS 1D X into a 7D-sized APS-C body with an APS-C-sized sensor, add a few enhancements (and remove a few), cut the price by 74% (as of review time) and you get a 7D Mark II. This camera is a bargain-priced, professional-duty-ready DSLR waiting to tackle your world."

;)

Think new Canon lenses are overpriced? Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!

Great idea. I find his reviews to be real world and practical. His review of the Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC reflected exactly the issues I had with it. I didn't see a whole lot of reviewers describing the issues he did. (Lots of forum posts on it but not too many regular reviewers.)

Love his reviews, always the go to site whenever I want to read any in-depth reviews without the review being sugarcoated.
