need help with macro shot of diamond ring

Can someone give me pointers on how to capture the sparkling fire of color from a diamond?

I was recently asked by a bride to capture the sparkle of her diamond ring.
This is after the wedding, not during.
She wants to capture it for the sake of having it documented.
And for their insurance file.
