I just got my new 5D3. I'm experiencing a burn-in issue on the top lcd screen. If I touch it and apply light pressure it does this sometimes. If I swipe across the screen with a microfiber cloth or sleeve of a shirt, it does it sometimes depending on how many times I swipe across it and the amount of pressure.

Is this normal? Has anyone else had this issue?

Nope not normal. I would suggest sending it to service. Plastic is tool tight against lcd.

I just want to add in that it does not do this if I tap on it. I tried gentle taps and hard taps. Doesn't do it.

Alright, so I have some good news. Apparently, this also happens with my 6D. It takes a little bit more pressure but it still happens.

If you take your sleeve and rub it very quickly left to right it's on the top LCD panel, while applying a little bit of pressure, you'll see it.
