I was looking around Deal Extreme at external battery packs for
my Flashes when I cam across the Sharpen Power Brick 1 - 12000mAh Battery
pack and adapter plate for the LP-E6. From the limited descriptions
I have been able to find, you can use the DR-E6 DC Coupler and plug
it directly into the Sharpen and power the camera. I'm thinking you
could shoot for quite a few days with a 12000 mAh battery. But it
also appears to have a charger with an adapter plate to hold the
LP-E6 Battery. They also appear to have adapter plates for a few other
makes and models of cameras. This is the first time I have seen
something like this, but it might be useful for people that go hiking
or while on holidays with limited access to AC to charge up batteries.
Has anyone run across this unit before, and have any experience
with it?
