See so many tripod and ballhead comments here, just wanted to give a 2 years of use update. I absolutely love my Horrusbennu C-3540V legs. Light, sturdy and working beautifully. So easy to adjust in the field. Could not believe looking at my old link that these legs are now $500 on Ebay. Sure was nice to get them while they were low cost.

In contrast, my Horrusbennu FX-45Q ballhead was really a piece of crap. It was never exactly smooth, had problems with the friction lock and it froze up after about 6 months of use. It wouldn't hold predictably after I managed to unfreeze it. Dialogue with supplier went nowhere. I replaced it with a Sirui K-40X. What a dream 54mm ballhead! Absolutely smooth as silk for the past 18 months. Still love the feel EVERY time I use it. I'm a Sirui believer. Superb quality at a reasonable cost.

Just goes to show that many manufacturers make great tripods and poor heads - or the reverse.
I have the Sirui K40X and, like you, I am impressed. It will happily hold any lens that you may want to use without creep. I don't recommend using big lenses on ball heads but my K40X does cope well with my Canon 800 F5.6 L IS - so it can't be bad!

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).
