EverydayGetaway Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 29, 2014 13:09 | #2 Thrift stores, Antique malls and retro clothing stores. I regularly visit all 3 of these in search for vintage camera gear and I see all kinds of stuff that would fit that description and usually pretty cheap. Fuji X-T3 // Fuji X-Pro2 (Full Spectrum) // Fuji X-H1 // Fuji X-T1

I have done this in the past and I will leave a deposit of 100% of the sales price, use the items for a shoot, and then return the items for a refund of 80% of the sales price - in other words, the seller gets 20% for loaning me the items. Everthing is spelled out in a rental agreement including the duration of use, and exactly how much 20% is. Some are cool to the idea (so don't give up if one person says "no"), but others see the 20% premium on thier merchandise and are happy to work with me. .
