I believe these are the same twin fawns that have been frequenting our field since spring. Unfortunately, they seem to be on their own after youth deer season. I sure hope they can survive the winter on their own. Photos taken on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014.

White-tailed deer, not white faced deer!

This is how he got the white face...

They are not very big.

I couldn't get very many shots with the twins in the same frame. Here they are headed towards the woods.

This is how they looked on September 1, 2014.

Wonderful shots Sandy, youth at its best. Good luck to them! Boy, you have snow!

Nice shots Sandy, really like #1 and the spring shot. They should make it fine on their own if it's true their mother is gone but I would expect them to start browsing heavily with the snow you have so if you have fruit trees or nice shrubs in the yard they may get trimmed soon.

Wow, it's good to be back!
Thanks Ian, John, Steve and Marc! With warm temperatures over night, we lost most of the snow, but it will be back soon enough. Now to learn the new POTN!

Thank you Cheryl and Dan. I haven't seen the fawns for a few days. I've heard they were at my neighbors place eating with their horses!
