But <CTRL> click should still work then, at least on Windows.
Yes, that works (with the left mouse button, of course).

Regarding search: I'm finding it very difficult to find lenses in the gaggle of text when doing a search by metadata. Maybe it's my aging eyes. Is there a plan/is it possible to simplify (the lenses part, anyway) by creating a drop-down box where one can say, type in the first 2-3 numbers of the focal length and then a list of matches appears that can then be selected? I don't know if it's the spacing or the organization that is giving my eyes a hard time with that section. Anyone? Bueller?

I'll do something to it in the future. I'll probably add there the same gear selector tool that metadata has (it will have a search too later). The Forum Boss, El General Moderator

idsurfer Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 8 years ago by idsurfer. | Dec 05, 2014 20:04 | #425 I have been reluctant to ask….But since there is a bit of talk about "searching"….I must say I have had no luck using the search tool with the new format. It is likely too sophisticated for my feeble mind. Can we not search within a specific thread/forum any longer? Is there a post/thread anywhere that might walk me through how to use this tool? Cory

(3 edits in all) | Dec 05, 2014 20:09 | #426 Go to the forum page or even the thread page, then open the search tool by hitting SEARCH at the top. If you select in threads, a toolbox will open, and at the top in a large box will be the current thread, select that to lock in that thread. If you select in forums, the same thing happens, but the forum will be in the top box, select it and/or more down below. Enter your text in the title or the body field, and hit search. idsurfer Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 8 years ago by idsurfer. | Dec 05, 2014 20:23 | #429 So I'm sure this is a great tool for those that understand how to use it. But, I just followed your directions….I chose this thread under "in threads", I entered the words "search" and "Tools" into the text box, and came up with what was seemingly one page that had a post from Pekka at the top. THis post had the words "Search, searching, tool" and maybe another in it. That was the only thing that came up. I would think that at the very least my post above would have poped up. I don't get the search tool and don't think it is that user friendly. Cory

Was just wondering if it was noticed by anyone other than myself.

Was the image you were trying to quote a potn hosted image?

I can which threads I have not viewed - thread title bolded and those which I have viewed all posts - marked as "all seen" but can't tell on a thread that I have viewed that has had activity since I've visited - I think these are also bolded ?? The place I use this most are the photo sections. Once I've viewed the OPs image(s) and commented, I generally don't care to go back and re-visit. So I like knowing which threads I've already visited (activity since or not). With the old software it was easy for me to tell via link color, but haven't figured this out yet with AMASS.
