Chet knew he wasn't going to be around to take care of the fish and raise it properly, so he named it Flu so that it would grow up to be tough (and, therefore inedible). I think that Johnny Cash had a song about it although some of the facts were changed in the song.

I am liking the new look quite a bit, the only thing that bugs me a bit are the inconsistencies at the top. White text on a dark background is fine, but then having black highlighted text on the line below is inconsistent with the clean look above it. I almost would rather see the sub menu have the same look/feel as the line above it. Just the User Experience part of my job coming out I guess... :)

Having the colors pop out to you when there are PMs or unread messages is perfectly fine, and really draws the attention, but the basic black doesn't do it for me. Just a personal thing.
