My guess is this:
Clouds move and trying to freeze clouds with a shutter speed of 10 seconds isn't going to work. At F/16 you're probably also suffering from diffraction. And then there's also some atmospheric haze (distant objects).
Agree^^

The one complaint I had, which I am hoping is just a setting that can be changed, is that whenever you take a shot the viewfinder switches to a preview of that shot for a short period. Is there a way to turn this off? Sony A6000 | Zeiss Vario-Tessar 16-70mm f/4 OSS | Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 | Promaster XC525 | Gear/Feedback

Yes you can turn that off in the menu settings. Name: Theron

Extremely frustrating! If it is working with non Sony lenses, you can go in the menu system and change the time allotment to unlimited. Name: Theron

Yes the focus magnifier, where would I find the time allotment? I'll have a look at it tonight. I grabbed it today as walk-around, wanting to re-familiarize before the A7Rii arrives, so off into the backyard I went, and lo and behold my second Jay this week- IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/u9BpBRflickr
