Mine is in the mail right now. 12 MP isn't enough, I used to print 30X40 with the old 5DC.

The high iso control will be invaluable in my wedding business

By the way, just made the leap from Canon to Sony and loving it!

Thanks!
I am aiming to do more in the style of outdoors/nature. Especially when I pick up my new Scarpa Mantas with B2 Crampons. Winter mountaineering on the way. We have the climate and land for it :).

The night shots were with the 50mm f1.4 from Sigma and the daylight one was with the 24mm f1.8. Hope you enjoy them!

I'm seriously considering buying one of these with my Best Buy credit card while I wait to sell my a7R... I'm already half way saved up toward the body since I've been sitting on the a7R for so long -?

If you never print images over A3 size, I would not see the point in anything more than 12MP imho.

This is the same megapixel as the 5DC, there isn't a problem printing at any size. Heck, Joel Grimes has billboards out there that were shot with 6MP. As long as you frame correctly, you're ok

People seem to take this "he shot with a potato and looks fine plastered on Everest from China" thing a little too far.

A billboard is viewed from a decent distance, but when you make a print and frame it for a gallery/home, people do walk up to it and try see the little details.
If it is to be hung in a galley, 240+ dpi please.

Anyway:
