Feb 02, 2015 17:19 | #2 This is a fairly dead thread, time for a wakeup. from my limited use, the IQ seems very good if you dont mind the slow aperture. IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/q6asvZ IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/q6asSR the lens does look very large on the camera, but hardly weighs anything. The zoom feels real good, though I put a band there to prevent creeping. My goal is to use this as a landscape lens; think it will work out based on some shots around the house. DavidArbogast Cream of the Crop More info | Looks great! OOF areas look clean and undistracting. Looking forward to seeing some landscapes and more impressions from you as it gets a workout. I'm very pleased with my 24-70mm and have decided to keep it, but this one is the better buy (just as good or better, yet much less expensive). David | Flickr

At wider focal lengths, this thing is very sharp, corner to corner. Aug 24, 2015 21:46 | #13 This lens is pretty decent. On Saturday when I used this at a wedding, I was pretty much using the button mash technique normally associated with the Fuji X-Pro1 when it first came out. Needless to say, the Sony A7s + 28-70mm lens worked like a charm. I will try to post images later. 500px

I remember when I had my 5DII, unless I was using the AF light assist feature, I has would get non stop hunting.
