How about a Ctrl+[Return] or similar to push submit? Or at least make the submit button a tabstop.

Hmm, suddenly it automatically stopped subscribing me to threads in which I post. I know there's a way to manually follow them and I've had the pop-up thingie coming up to ask if I want to subscribe. But, cannot it be like it was before: automatic subscription and then I can manually stop following if I'm no longer interested? Less clicking and hassle that way.

Subscribing seems pretty random to me - in some threads when I post I get subscribed and notified, in some threads I don't. I prefer more control of subscriptions and a central control panel.

The "mark everything as read" to unbold things that were here when I last finished reading is invaluable to me. Without it I have to read all the thread title, it's information overload.

This is something else that I'm looking for...

1) auto subscribe to all threads I post to
2) where to find said subscriptions ("Your Home Page" > Latest Posts?). This seems to be the closest to what I was used to viewing.

Information on managing your followed threads is on your For Your Eyes Only page, which has a link to your New & Followed page.

If you reply to a post (click the "Reply" button on that post), you'll be asked if you want to follow the thread. If you just post to a thread, you won't. Of course, if you start a thread, you'll also be asked if you want to follow it.

Own threads are always followed and notified by default, no questions asked :)

This is what should be automatic. It's vexing to be asked for confirmation all the time at every turn.

Agreed. Heck, I found and posted that I've only created a total of 25 new threads of my own since I joined in 2009, but I like being auto-subscribed to threads I post to so I can easily find and continue conversations. Waiting for that auto-subscribe option :)

And, speaking of confirmations left and right, that 'Really Cancel?' confirmation when you want to cancel a post it's really unnecessary.

I don't have any desire to follow most of the threads I participate in; as it is, I've got some 3000 I'm listed as "Own", either because they reflect reports of spam/mod alerts in the old POTN or threads where I've split a thread that rolled past 10,000 posts. So I'm delighted to have it a check-box. If it's in an area I regularly visit, I'll come back and see any new posts anyhow; if it's outside that area, I'll generally remember it and make a point of popping back in.

Are you really sure that's what you'd want?

Sure. Whenever I lose typed text is because I accidentally or stupidly hit the Back button on the browser.
