You only have one canon 100mm macro, the one listed is is discontinued ole design , the current one has USM on the end of the name and is an internal focus design.

I have 2 450d bodies one of them has been converted to full spectrum IR, is there any plans in the future on allowing multiple entries for the same body/lens/flash or the like in members gear (if that sounds right), its not a big problem for me but it would be nice to be able to add multiple's. Also the Samyang UWA 8mm 'original' is missing.

I don't think this is gear database corrections, but definitely pertaining to gear:

Where do we talk about tripods? IIRC before it was in the "Storage, Accessories" sub forum under equipment talk, which is now the 'Canon Accessories' sub forum.

There are individual sections for Cameras, Lenses, Flashes and Bags, but maybe a dedicated camera support section is now needed? It may get lost under the 'canon accessories' forum.

Good call, yes, I'm working on that. In the camera bags section in the gear forum, I think we might add support back to it as it was on Old POTN.
right now the vast majority of this is in the old "Canon Accessories" forum which was moved here from the old software. Most of the content in there needs to be relocated to non canon specific forum.

yes, the tripod section is missing! Combined with another subforum or on it's own, I have no preference, but the omission of tripod talk feels like I'm missing a leg -?

A couple of days ago there were no camera or lens database either :)

Camera Support forum should go well in to General Gear Talk section.

That can be done quite soon, but adding camera support caegeory to gear database takes more time. Of course if someone helps with the full list of tripods, monopods and heads grouped by manufacturer, that would speed it up a bit.

I just wanted to say if there was a need to help update and maintain the gear database I would be glad to volunteer.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II

In the "Your Home Page" the format of this lens displays the "EF-S" after the FL thus breaking current convention and creating confusion in the gear sig.

I noticed there isn't a way to add film cameras to the gear. Also, I think it would be nice if it could query the LensTag database for the gear since their gear list would be more extensive.

The Nissin DI622 (mark I) dedicated flash is missing.
I couldn't find the EF-S 24mm STM either.

Also, just an idea for future expansion of the gear db: battery grips :-)
