Not a band....it was a special event with kids on Santa.
Its done.....now post process and formating and get those pics on paper so I can get pay.

Its a cie thing, I would need their permission.
But lets just say that its just real plain, with one strobe.....and a little lightroom.

I use shutter priority and shoot at 200th or faster if light allows. Put the flash in High-Speed mode which will dim the flash considerably. Use ETTL with FEC at -1 to -2 just to fill some dark areas with flash and expose for the highlights. The further away you are the stronger and more direct the flash will need to be. Also use a diffuser, point the flash up at a 45 degree if you are using a small diffuser or bounce it off the ceiling if that is a possibility. If you have a large diffuser you can point it more directly at the subject. The theory here is you are trying to expose the shot as it would be normally without the flash and just filling in shadows with the flash.
