First off, let me say that I really like the new look and functioning of the forum, at least as much as I can considering I've only been going around it for an hour or so 
One of the first things that struck me when coming on the new and improved POTN is that the forum list on the index has been greatly changed (in and of itself not a bad thing), but I believe there could be some improvements made to increase the accessibility of the list (it currently looks daunting, and it may possibly be lacking some logic).
I think the ordering of the forum list could be something like:
- General Gear Talk
- All brand-specific forums (as they are currently listed)
- Lens and Camera Samples (because of how these forums are used, this could also be linked through the photosharing section)
- Gear Reviews
then have:
- General Photography Talk
- Photo Sharing
- Post-Processing
then:
- Marketplace and general forums.
Making visual sub-sections with these could also help the browsing experience.
In any case, I really like the site's new look, and look forward to seeing improvements happen going forward!
