I have always spent a lot of time in Critique Corner. When someone's Image Editing is set to ON, I would often edit and repost my suggestions.

Previously, when I had a thread open, and an image in the thread, I could just Left Click, Drag, and then Drop in image into my Photoshop desktop to edit it.

That does not seem to work on the new site.

Alternatively, I would Right Click on the image and select "Copy Picture", then in PS I would go File/New/From Clipboard.

Again, a no-go as Copy Picture is not a right click option.

Are the images as presented in AMASS somehow not images. They do not seem to be being recognized as such?

Rad

Speaking of which... is the "Image Editing OK" function gone?

They are still images, they just aren't selectable.

When I clicked on the "eye glasses" on the side of one image it allowed me to save the image. The extension was .duck but it saved it as a .duck.jpg

Strange, but it worked. As for one small enough not to have the "eye glasses" icon, it appears not to be so simple.

It would be nice that click on image does what the eyeglasses link does so you can copy images. You can easily get round it using inspect element (or firebug) in firefox and copying the src url in the img tag, but it is a palaver.

"Image editing OK" is gone. Members could turn it on and off, and other members wouldn't know whether it applied to the image they wanted to edit. To repost an image, other than quoting it, you have to ask its owner unless the person has given permission in advance. I suppose members can add a blanket permission in their sigs.

I don't know the answers to your other questions. Let's hope someone who does will respond.

Click the glasses and then right click the image.

Click the glasses and then right click the image.

Is there a way to do it without using something like Firebug with the images that are small enough there is no "glasses" icon?
Edit: Solved in the last update.
