I received the SF 24D from my wife a few days before Christmas in order to use during our Holiday party for pictures. I use in mostly as a fill indoors and it has been working great for what I need. I am more than pleased with its size and ability. I think the SF58 would have been to much for me. It was difficult to quickly learn how to use as a fill without bouncing the flash off of a wall or ceiling but I was able to manage rather quickly and am pleased with the results.
