Wireless remotes

Can anyone recommend a good wireless remote with an intervelometer and a shutter lock (like if I have the camera at 30" shutter and continuous shooting, it'll lock the shutter and shoot 30" exposures until I release it.. Think star trails).

I've got a cheapy from Amazon but it's only a trigger. And only semi reliable at best.

I thought there was an intervalamoter app you could download into the camera?

I haven't figured out how to use any of the apps.. Lol clueless.. Where do you download them?

Sorry mate I forgot to click follow so hadn't realised you had replied. I done a bit of digging and as far as I can see there isn't an app that would do intervlamoter. There are some wired remotes that do it but haven't found a wireless option yet

The only one I have seen is by http://shop.triggertra​p.com , had one for my 6D and it did what I wanted to do.

It's not wireless though.

you need to sign up for a sony digital account (think playstation online gaming). Then you connect your camera to a wifi nearby and login. it's pretty simple, and the remote actually saved my butt on vacation. The IR remote is limited to only a few feet, however I had to stand really far away to create a shot like this:

I used to use their Giga T Pro on my 5Ds which they have now made compatible with the Sony A7 range... Its not cheap but its the best Remote Ive used - I even dropped the transmitter in the sea last week and it carried on working.. - 100 Meter Wireless range Etc

Be careful of old stock being sold as its only been a matter of weeks since the new and A7 compatible stock came out... Saying that , Hahnel told me all is needed in that case is the S2 cable, I bought a spare from HK Sellers on Ebay and they work great.

Does everything you ask , one thing I will say it now comes with a weird connector so you will need that Sony Multi interface adapter to be able to sit the receiver in the hot-shoe.

I don't have the intervalometer, but I have their radio remote.

I have the wireless intervalometer from Vello i bought from B&H, then someone pointed me to get "S2" cable and i did from eBay and Viola, working like a charm!

I am thinking to buy one more S2 cable just as a backup and also to buy another intervalometer, i will keep one for Canon and the other for Sony as i hate to swap between them in my small bags for each when i go outdoor, i don't carry big bags, and also to make one as a backup, who knows when i may damage/lose the current one then i can't wait to get another for something i can't miss to shoot urgent.
