I was wondering if there is ever going to possibly be a message board strickly devoted to architecture? Architecture, buildings, structures built by man I think would be a good idea and would be a hit like when Transportation split from Sports.

I mainly think this because Travel & Landscape seem to say the same thing, Landscapes yet when say you insert a picture like this in it.

It seems really out of place when the message board is called Travel & Landscape. A place where people expect to see this,

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

If there was a message board called Architecture it could be called maybe

Architecture & Structures
Buildings, Houses, Bridges, Statues, Structures built by man.

Anyways this is just an idea. It would be nice if it could be made but its completely up to you guys. Just thought I would share an idea and concern with you today.

I think it's covered by either Urban or more likely, Landscapes since that also includes cityscapes. There have been plenty of cityscapes and architectural shots in Landscapes.

That's just it though. How is Architecture a landscape when it is from indoors? Say someone take a picture of stairwells or theaters or whatever, where does that go? Urban or Landscape? That's all my point is.

So a buildings outside could be considered Landscape, the inside is lost in a maze of boards looking for a home yet none is found. Architecture is more then just the outside of a building or a bridge, it also includes the inside which doesn't seem to be covered.

I agree with scottes, it's covered pretty well by Urban (that's where I post my architecture ones anyway). We already have 13 photo sharing seconds and I don't see the level of demand needed to justify a split at this stage.

Urban, Urban, Urban ... that's where the cool dudes hang and there's plenty of room for you! We had a logical split off of music/performance a while back so it's like we're possessive or anything, it just seems 'appropriate' to keep buildings in there to me.

Ok so it seems like its Urban. I always sort of figured that is where it was. Landscape never made much sense to me. Just thought I'd share an idea/concern with POTN. Thanks for reading :)

How about Urban landscape? Just kidding. I find that I keep looking for a thread called Architecture. That is one of my main interests. I have been putting them in different places. I am new here so I am learning the ropes a little at a time. ...Bob
