I visited the Leica Store in Los Angeles during this past holiday and there was a customer there that purchased one and they were going through everything in the box for them. I was awestruck.

yea that's an overkill in packaging. I know it's lecia and all but handling it with cotton gloves is a bit overboard.

Thanks for the tip! The camera set costs $20k and is a costumers, he was kind enough to let the shop do an unboxing to show everyone. I would use gloves LOL.

I really wish they would put that camera in regular production and offer it for about the same price as the M-E is now.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that just a film camera.

If I am right then that's a way over priced film camera. I am sure a 2nd leica wouldn't be worth that much.
