i've been meaning to ask this for a while - in an effort to ditch CF entirely (card readers and the bulkiness are definitely annoying), I was curious if anyone's had any experiences, good or bad, with using the latest generation of uhs-3 SDXC cards with a CF II adapter?
raw read speed on the SD cards is about 96 MB/s + write of > 30 MB/s, but i wasn't sure how much that would drop in an adapter. i'm currently using a 7d and i'm a bit concerned about how quickly the buffer would fill / how well this might work with HD video...
