I prefer the old one too.
And I know I don't count for much but I do have the right to say I don't like the new forum.
I'll still participate because POTN is the best photog community I've found and I thank Pekka for his efforts over the years.
I just can't participate as much because I don't enjoy using it as much as I used to.

:-)

That's cool. But why say it 15 times? I've seen you and many others keep repeating it. Say it, and let go. Jeez.

I prefer the old look as well.. much easier to read and navigate.

Does it really look that different? I keep hearing how different AMASS looks from vBulletin and I'm just not seeing the massive difference. I really must be missing something big. Even the colors are similar to vBulletin. Navigation is fully customizable and all of the old threads were moved into AMASS with only the new camera brands added which can be hidden from view.

If I had one gripe it would be that you still KNOW that a person you have on ignore posted. Which is why I don't bother /ignoring fools, anymore.

I'm trying to like it.
But I still can't enjoy it as much as I used to, and others feel the same as me.
Why does everyone else have the right to say they like it over and over again (15 times+)?
You've told us you like it, we get it too.

What specifically is still an issue for you? There are several things that people have tweaked or changed to give them the look they want. The only issue left at this point is a color theme to give some people flexibility depending on their visual acuity and monitors/tools, and some font changes. The small inconsistencies of links vs buttons will be addressed over time too. The enhancements over the old POTN are great, and make browsing active threads very nice. The search tool will be expanded/enhanced too. There are some big changes slated for a future release.

Have you changed your margins, filtered out forums you don't care for, and rearranged the forums (sections and even the forums under each section)? These are the first 3 things folks should do. The next thing is to go to your old subscriptions and bring over those you want to keep active.

It doesn't bother me to hear it, I just don't understand is all. But you probably can't understand why we like it, we are all at an impasse until we find the root cause of the dislike -other then it's just not vBulletin.

I've said it once. Read above...that was my first expression of my opinion on the new format. I, unlike others, decided to give it a week. But, if you want to whine and whine over and over again..hey, that's your right. I guess.

Do you at least like the pants I wore in the 70's? I would be completely stoked to have the same outfit today!

When you see how people drive on the freeways/highways (especially when there is ice/snow on the road), you start to understand just how stupid the human race is... That's all I'm saying.

Though the fit of my savvy outfit I kinda look like Barney Fife.
