Pekka, not sure if this was intentional or even known but a .png image with a transparent background shows a grey box as the transparent background. My avatar for example, is the JM logo with everything behind it transparent. When viewing it on the forum, it shows all of my transparent area as an off-grey square that does not match the color behind the avatar. So you have a grey box sitting on top of a different shade of grey in the forum. Is this fix-able?

If you look at the image below, you can see that the logo (with transparent background) auto-generates a grey box border for the image. When viewing a thread, you can still see the image as a box instead of a logo with matching color background. Not a huge issue whatsoever, it just bugs me (being a perfectionist).

And here is what it looks like in a thread. Obviously you can just look over at the image, but I thought I'd still add it.

As avatars are jpeg they can not contain any transparency. That is why AMASS converts the transparency to background color. In this case I changed that color and forgot to change it into the image algorithm. Will do that soon.

More curiosity than anything, but is there a reason why the forum software does not support PNG avatars?
