This is down on our water front, straight out of the camera jpeg from my X100. I plan to shoot a bit more in this manner in the coming year. it makes you slow down and really look around you and I love B/W. This is a custom setting I've made in my camera for mono shots

Good stuff, and I've been trying the same. I was fixated on Classic Chrome until I got an XT-3, read a book on it, and then realized that different film sims are better in certain situations. Velvia, for example, can struggle on overcast days but the ProNeg's or Astia can be fantastic. Anyway, it took buying a new camera to realize that there's still more to the X100T. Look forward to some more SOOC and you might share your settings some time. All the best,

Perhaps a little G&N on the horizon for my 2020.
I can only believe that the future is perfect.

So this was a very, very cool place, Opus 40 in New York State. It's one massive sculpture started in an abandonded quarry. The artist's plan was for a 40-year work, although he passed away after 37 years with just a bit left incomplete. Amazing place, one of those you find by happy accident. All the best,

Two from this morning. We're waiting on somewhere between 6-12 inches of snow to hit in northern Minnesota over the next 24 hours...

Not a full-on compelling picture... but it's from the World's Largest Kaleidoscope! We got a 10 minute show of astral-inspired eye candy. Catskills area, NY.
