for the record, I used the S version. RRS is phenomenal, so I have zero qualms about recommending the T plate

I'll also vouch for RRS I don't have the L bracket for the x100s but I do have it for the X-T1. If I was not set on picking up a 10-24mm eventually I'd buy it for the x100 though.

You're replacing your X100s with the XT1 and 10-24?
I ask because that's also in the cards for me. I've enjoyed shooting with the X100T tremendously. I still have my Canon gear, but am considering replacing it with the XT-1 and a couple of lenses for my landscape work.

Puckman, no I'm just planning on adding a couple lenses to my x-t1 eventually. I love the x100s and have no intention of selling it, it's great as a daily camera. My fuji x-t1 is more for planned photography outings. I would still most likely bring the x100 assuming space, but I would be using the x-t1 with either the 56, 10-24, or other lenses depending my intent/subjects.

Cool. That's kind of what I have in mind. Hoping the Xt-1 will replace the Canon 6D eventually for me.

Here's my first go at a timelapse. Shot last night with the Fuji X100T to capture the setting sun from my window.

I wasn't a huge fan of the X100T's handling and responsiveness during the first few days, and actually considered returning it. But instead I added a thumbrest, soft shutter and much faster 95MB/s SD card, and it's made a world of difference.

Now the camera is a joy to use. There's a place for my thumb so it stops sliding out of my hand, and the 95x SD card speed has massively improved responsiveness.

One from today.

I've started ordering several little add-ons for my X100T (which I find a joy to use and carry): Soft release came in yesterday. The hood and filter kit is coming in today. What I'm really curious about is this thumb rest. I can see how my gripping the camera is awkward as it stands, but am really curious if these thumbrests really improve the situation as much as advertise. Wanted to get that input before ordering.

Classic Chrome makes me happy too. You using it SOOC? Or do you shoot raw and then use the Classic Chrome sim in Lightroom perhaps? I've tried both ways. I tend to shoot in raw, so I usually turn to LR for my CR simulations, but I have to wonder if Adobe's version of it is as authentic as Fuji's.

The thumb rest is the single most important add-on for me. Without it I would probably have returned the X100T and just used my E-M10 instead, which has a built-in thumb rest. There's no natural place to put your thumb on the X100T while shooting or walking around. I don't use a neck strap, just a loose wrist strap while holding the camera in my hand. So the thumb rest is helpful for shooting but also crucial when I'm walking around with the camera in hand to prevent me from dropping it.

Definitely not SOOC. I don't use Lightroom either. ACR for most cameras, but for the Fuji I convert the RAW in Silkypix to apply Classic Chrome, and then do further curves adjustments in each individual colour channel in Photoshop.

Thanks for the reply! So you've got your own Classic Chrome homebake. :)
I'll be looking at thumb rests now.
