You're welcome! And nah man I just use Fuji's official RAW converter, powered by Silkypix. It lets you apply Fuji's exact sim settings, which I then convert to tif and bring to photoshop for further work.

I bring all my shoots in Lightroom as part of my workflow (it's where everything is cataloged) prior to any plug-in use (Photoshop, Nik, etc.) so I'm not sure that would work for me. But I'm willing to give it a try.
Adobe LR has its own version of exactly that (the film sims), but I often wonder if it's as good as Fuji's algorithms, for obvious reasons.

That makes sense. LR is great for organization. But it shouldn't be hard to insert a quick silkypix conversion somewhere along the way in your workflow. At the very least it'll let you compare lr presets to fuji's own on RAW files.

Regarding thumb rests, make sure to get one that doesn't cover or press the drive button. Ones designed for the x100 or s will cover it. I refuse to pay the ridiculous amounts most are charging for a thumb rest so i just spent a few hours shopping around in Hong Kong until i found one that fit. Cost me around 30 bucks.

I've started ordering several little add-ons for my X100T (which I find a joy to use and carry): Soft release came in yesterday. The hood and filter kit is coming in today. What I'm really curious about is this thumb rest. I can see how my gripping the camera is awkward as it stands, but am really curious if these thumbrests really improve the situation as much as advertise. Wanted to get that input before ordering.

Its night and day for me. Its one accessory I cannot live without.

Thanks! But don't be jealous : ) It's really easy, especially with Classic Chrome JPEGs as a starting point. Tone Curve RGB (Pulling up shadows), and split toning, blue shadows and yellow highlights. Tweaks to saturation and a few other things but thats mostly it. Achieving the look from a RAW file is much more tedious though.

I bought the CamDesign 49mm lens cap from Amazon. Fits like a glove, was only $5.99. Keep in mind this is on top of a 49mm BW UV filter.

theres a newer style lens hood where the OEM cap fits. I use that

I don't like UV filters. The cap won't fit over the bare filter adapter?
