bwhip, I normally don't offer unsought CC....but I love that last shot. I'm wondering what it would look like in full color and without selective color. Or at a minimum, de-saturate the BW part, but leave some color in it so its not really a "selective color" shot.

Just some thoughts, because I think the picture itself is fantastic.

Thanks! I'll play with it a bit. I didn't like it as much in full color, because I thought there was just too much going on with bright blue sky, and the color of the building sort of clashed with the yellow pump color to my eye. In hindsight, I wish I'd have shot it in Classic Chrome rather than Velvia, but I'll play with some alternatives in Lightroom when I get a chance.

^^Zach Arias did say its the gateway drug to the X-Pro system : )

This camera actually reinvigorated my love for my Canon 5D3. I use both now pretty regularly.

Can I ask how you find the af speed on the x100t and if it locks well in low light? I really like your work/style and I noticed we have a similar lineup (5D3, 35, 85, 135, 16-35 etc). I've been lusting after an x100t for ages and trying to work out what to do so would appreciate your input. It would be my take everywhere camera and used a lot on my son (just about to turn 2)

its pretty slow in medium to low light. needs a decent amount of contrast to actually lock. In good light its fine. It reminds me of the non cross AF points on my 6D at times.
