Thank You. ![]() The one above is a pretty straight b&w conversion in lightroom with some clarity and burning around the edges. I think it looks a little more processed than it is because it has a kind of 3D feel, which I was hoping to catch with the low perspective and the different textures of the elements. Reduced vibrance, dodged the front of the telescope, a little vignette: Just a little contrast added: Fuji X....BAAAAM! Renders way different than Sony.

Snafoo Goldmember More info | Aug 12, 2015 17:40 | #472 I was on the fence during Amazon Prime Day. Now I wish I'd pulled the trigger. Bought a T anyway last week at full price and don't regret it. But I used reward points, so I can tell myself that I got for free! ߘ

Thank You. ![]() Barbara- I don't know if this is helpful, but here's a SOOC (sharpened only) raw file to compare with a processed image. I like the flexibility and range the Fuji files give on highlights and shadows. Fuji X....BAAAAM! Renders way different than Sony.

Snafoo Goldmember More info | Aug 13, 2015 07:32 | #478 Much closer to a Leica rangefinder. I still have my little Leica CL that I bought - new - back in 1976. Feels much like that, and the images have a certain rf quality, too. Or I may just be sentimentalizing...
