X100, X100s, X100T photos

Someone please tell me I can't go wrong with the fuji x100 I have liked the idea of having one and finally it is on sale, so tell me I won't regret it. Currently I shoot with 5DII and seem to use my 35L most as of lately.

The X100s is the only piece of camera equipment I own that I paid full brand new retail cost for ($1299). And even then I've had absolutely no regrets for the almost 2 years I've owned it.

I think I will finally pull the trigger on it.

Since I have been suffering from the flu for 5 days the camera will be my reward for feeling so crappy.

I haven't touched my 5D since buying the X100T. You won't regret it.

Thaks all, I just placed my order for camera card and extra battery, can't wait to use it but it's hard to get out of the house caring for a elderly mother ( who is verbally abusive) so hopefully I will get an hour our just to play with the camera. Can't wait to have something small to carry around.

New toy will be here Friday can't wait for it to get here!! Even though I am recovering from the flu I am going to try and get out Saturday for some test shots.

yea, its perfect for this. Once they start moving around is when things get tricky. My daughter is 17 months old and when she see's me get my x100T out (or any camera for that matter) she goes nuts and HAS to hold it and push the buttons. I just take the battery out and let her go at it.

Well I finally got the camera, there is ALOT to learn about this little thing. Somehow I was taking square photo's, it took me a while to figure out what I did. Then I was ready to put it to the test drove all the way to the next city and wouldn't you know I left the card out of the camera, I was bummed so I drove all the way back and decided to go to the local hot spot and so far I am impressed with this little camera, I have to say I even forgot I had it around my neck it was so light. Here are some snaps.

Hey Jeff I notice one thing I don't understand, when I open the box I immediately charged the battery, when I put the battery in the charger it acted like it was already charged with a solid green dot, I left it on for a while and when I got to my first location yesterday it said the battery was dead, I did buy a back up which I used but would like to know what I am doing wrong. I have never seen a battery look like these.

With the Fuji chargers, green means it's charging and the light goes off when it's fully charged. Counter intuitive, but that's the way they do it. Another word of warning, I find the battery gauge on the Fuji's to be very unreliable, as in it will sometimes show half (or quarter) charge one minute, and the battery will be dead the next. That's not to say that battery life isn't consistent, just the meter is unreliable. Glad you picked up an extra battery, it will be very helpful to have with you.

That reminds me of one more thing.....the power switch on the T is easy to hit accidentally when putting your camera back in a bag or pack, so be careful. I've pulled out a dead camera on at least one occasion because I had accidentally hit the switch when putting it away!

Been too sick to pick it up since yesterday but hopefully I will have it back out soon.

on the T, just about every button is customizable. I can change my ISO in a single button push. I suggest you read the manual
