Thanks for the reply, I have got silent shooting disabled already.............. I tried OVF which would enable shooting tethered, but, not via my trigger.

What trigger are you using? We had problem getting the 603 ii to fire a flash, the 603 iii and the 560 TX work though (X-T1/XE-1).

Hi,

I am using a Lencarta Ultra Pro 300w studio flash, it has a built in receiver, and I am using the Lencarta Commander that was designed to trigger it. I found I had the drive set to 6fps which, when I disabled it took the flash symbol with the cross through it off the home screen of my camera. It still didn't allow me access to the 'flash mode' in the red menu 5. This seems to be the cause of my problem and I can't find a way past it.

Thanks.

What a headache, I know the flash won't fire in continuous mode or if you have This symbol as your flash setting

Also The flash menu will only get active with a Fuji TTL flash as far as I know, this is why your menu is greyed out. You can test if the camera is using the hot shoe by popping a flash on it directly. If it is then your triggers might not work? Hope some of this helps.
