Just beware the rubber grip issue. Mine just came down with it but luckily it's still in warranty.

My 24-70 had a rubber grip issuse too! But my lens was out of warranty. Fortunately Canon fixed it for me free.
I recently found out that sun screen degrades the rubber on the camera and lens so I'm wondering if that caused the tear in my rubber grip
