Oxnard CA Photography Ops?

I will be in Oxnard CA next Sunday working an event and had some time to explore the area. I get in late Friday and leave early Monday so I have Friday night and Saturday open, as well as Sunday late afternoon/night.

I would love to do some landscape photography and astrophotography as well. Any suggestions on great photo ops in that area? Can the milky way be seen in the mountains close by? Was thinking Malibu State Park at night but not sure on the light pollution in the area.

Looking for some suggestions for areas to shoot on my time off.

Shoot, looks like you already got back by the time I read this :(
But for anyone in the future reading this, Santa Barbara is only about 20 minutes from Oxnard, and is gorgeous with plenty of seascape, good looking people and interesting architecture.
