Not looking for a specific date, but was just wondering if we're talking about a few weeks, a few months, or a longer undetermined period. I apologize if this has already been covered. I may have missed the reference to it. Mark

If you click that "MORE/REPORT/SHARE" under member's name next to the post, you'll get to a member view where you can see "Last activity". That is the accurate info. I have not put the traditional "online gray/green dot" next to the post, as it is never accurate (member can have left a while ago and still said to be online). The Forum Boss, El General Moderator

It would be nice to have an accurate indicator in the thread itself so we could see all of those who are online. Perhaps that's something for a future enhancement. I've found that feature very useful on other forums. Mark

mwsilver Goldmember More info | Jan 06, 2015 20:08 | #98 Chet wrote in post #17368990 But as Pekka mentioned many folks stay logged in (with browser open to POTN) 24-7 but can be away from their devices. The most accurate indicator is latest activity. I often leave my desktop tabs open at work when I leave so the indicator is useless. Oh. Duh. Of course. I close my browser very often, and when email notifications were still active I only went back in only when I received a notification or had time to browse around. I've got a busy schedule and do lots of design work on my computer. I never keep pages active in my browser for such long periods. Additionally, more than 50% of the time I'm accessing POTN from the Dolphin Browser on my Samsung s5 phone rather than on my desktop. Thanks. Mark

Is there something similar in the new forum? No, that feature is gone. You can put a permission statement in your sig if image editing is OK with you for all your images. Otherwise, include it when you post an image that you don't mind being edited. The default, in the absence of words, is that image editing is not OK. I am a senior member trapped as a sub junior member due to my inability to join the forums which after 4 days I finally gave up and joined as; Barrytr with an email address the same as I always had in the old inter phase. My former and choice of log on is Bazz8 joined 2003 300 posts etc. I have sent 4 feedback to staff and all have not resulted in a reply, prior to creating a new ID Barrytr there is no way to contact of ask for assistance. Is it possible to give me a temp logon for Bazz8 and remove the Barrytr log on which is a pain for any of the moderators I would appreciate this very much regards Bazz8 I'll check this out and PM you (Barrytr) soon.
