For the past few years I've used zenfolio. I'm not really thrilled about the aesthetic aspects, but it has so far served me well enough.

I have noticed as of the last few months that the indexing of my images (in public galleries) has been extremely slow. In attempt to make things a little easier I've tried to focus on creating blog posts with a reasonable amount of text and between 15-25 ALT-tagged images.

But even the images in my blog posts don't seem to be getting indexed despite decent traffic to those posts, and despite submitting the url in webmaster tools. The page itself is indexed quickly enough, but the images often aren't.

Question for anyone willing to have a look at the code of one of my pages (e.g.: http://www.christopherstevenb.com …11/candid-wedding-ontario (external link) ): is there anything going on under the hood that is causing google to seemingly ignore my images ?

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

Your image file names are not Google friendly at all... e.g. http://www.christopherstevenb.com/img/s2/v73/p263329000-2.jpg (external link)

p263329000-2.jpg is never going to be searched for in Google. Alt tags will only go so far.

Thanks for having a look, Peter. My host uses a CDN and filenames aren't editable, sadly.
