Had a lead on Elk yesterday and didn't find them until dusk, about 60 bulls. So with the 400 5.6 & 7d I was pushing my limits. Was completely goofing around and my wife said MAKE our Christmas cards. So without much effort... ?

While I would prefer the 2nd from the top elk either looking straight ahead or toward the viewer, I still think this shot makes a fine Christmas card! The processing is very pleasing to me.

Definitely would make a wonderful Christmas card - much better than one that was purchased.

Personally I think that the white vignette is a little too harsh/extreme. I would recommend toning it back a bit. It seems to take over the whole image. It is a great image, though.
