Okay so I just noticed that my flickr photos are displaying terribly incorrect EXIF info. I took several photos yesterday and when I uploaded them to flickr, they all say "Taken on August 18, 2014" and most of the new ones have weird settings for shutter, f/, and ISO where as the information in LR is correct. What can be causing this?

I only see one photo which claims to have been taken on August 18, 2014 and none of the settings appear to be "weird". It says it was shot with Canon 6D with 24-105mm f/4L @ 28mm, f/9.0, 0.3sec.

Maybe a screenshot from Lr showing a sample image and it's EXIF data as well as the link to the same image on Flickr with the "weird" settings would help us assist you.

I just manually changed my last 3 photos to the correct date. Also, each of the last 3 photos say f/13, .8 sec, 100 ISO where in reality, all 3 of those photos have different EXIF...

Now that you mentioned that you manually changed the last three, I see deeper in the EXIF that it recorded the created date on all three as 2014:08:18 08:45:29. I honestly have no suggestions for you. Have you checked the clock on the camera to confirm it hasn't reset itself?

Yeah, and even if that was the case, in Lightroom, it wouldn't say the correct info...
Here are some screenshots of my LR screen...
Compare the exif here to the flickr version of the photo. The f/, shutter, and ISO are different...

I just uploaded another photo that I took back in July. The image EXIF seems to be correct, but it's still labeling the photo as "Taken on August 18" and this time it claims that I used my 24-105 when I actually used my 100-400. What the heck is going on?!

How can I reset my camera, if it may be reading lenses/dates wrong...? Or is that even a thing?

EDIT: After checking, the latest Eagle photo that I just uploaded has completely wrong EXIF in flickr. My camera says it was taken at f/5.6, 1/800, ISO 2000 and flickr stamped it with f/8, 1/40, ISO 100. wtf......

Maybe it has something to do with how you're putting the images on Flickr. How are you uploading the images? Directly from inside Lr or exporting to JPEG and then uploading? If it's the later, what does the EXIF say after the JPEG is created?

Export from LR to PS for extra fine tuning. Save from PS as .jpeg. Upload to flickr after.

What does the EXIF say after you create the JPEG before uploading to Flickr? I'm basically trying to figure out at which point in your process does the EXIF data change.

omgosh I know exactly what it is :-x

After I'm done editing my photo, I paste it onto another file (border) before doing the Save As and renaming. I forgot that the correct was is to paste the border onto the photo and then move the border behind the image. That way exif remains with the photo. Pasting the photo onto the border removes the EXIF. *facepalm*

This is a very complicated process and I never do it batch editing...only when I have a few that I wanna put on flickr.

Have you looked at the Lightroom plugin "LR Mogrify 2"? It is a plugin that can add boarders to images during export. http://www.photographers-toolbox.com/products/lrmogrify2.php (external link)
