The point is not whether one has permission or not...the point is (assuming that the person who originally posted the photo explicitly has asked for and WANTS others to post their modified versions of his photo!) ... HOW TO DO IT?!
How to copy the photo so you can edit it?...there is no Right-Click, Save Copy like previously on POTN.

Good one.
I like to know the answer too.

In next version the "lightbox glasses" for an image will be visible at all times, so that you can click that and then you have an ability to right click the image. The lightbox also lets you see the image with gray background.

If you do not know what the lightbox glasses are, narrow your browser screen when you have some photos in thread, they appear then.

Nice! That makes sense, for those of us that have to do everything else full-sized... Thank goodness for virtual desktops and 2 monitors though!

The downside of this however is that then, with my small(er) screens, I will no longer be able to tell if an image is full size or not. Right now I have my browser set so that an 1280px image is fully visible, which means losing the eyeglasses by two pixels or so. I'd hate to lose that. Is there no other way of getting an image in light box view?

Good point. I could add below glasses a small + when the image is too small to fit the screen.

Any indication, no matter how small, would be great, Pekka. Thanks. :-)

I see that it is official, according to my title...I am an old fart, no longer Cream of the Crop, apparently soured and curdled and beyond keeping around. But until I am pushed off the shelf I will continue to take up space. But in CA we are not cheese heads!

That is one awesome title you got there Wilt! congrats......I think!

right, the eyeglasses are also where you have to go in order to right click to see the exif of a photo...which is a bit of a pain...so far that, and the 50 posts per thread are my sole complaints...i don't know if i'll get over the 50 posts per page...i dread threads with more than 100 posts now...i may become one of those "sorry i haven't read the whole thread...here's blah blah blah information that has been spouted already"
