Well it is the Ring, its not the Karussell, so could it be Schwalbenschwanz, or somewhere near Adenau ?

OK, On the Sunday I was at Hohe Acht. I had planned to walk round that way, but my feet were sore from walking on Saturday.

Yes, after seeing your photos from last year. I was there friday afternoon to sunday afternoon. But I did go back to the hotel Saturday night.
On saturday I walked up to Aremberg from Nurburg and then back. So I'm glad I followed up on put on line last year, thanks.

My plan is to go to Spa this year for the 6 hr, so I dont think I will get to Nurburgring.

Read about Parallax effect. It occurs when the object is moving to an angle towards you and the camera ( not fully parralel or straight at you ).
Love the effect on the 4-th too.
