Here is a shot that I got earlier this past summer. This is probably my best Bald Eagle shot to date. I'm no good with BIF.

Nice! We seldom get Eagles when there are leaves on the trees, so this looks quite different from what I get.

BTW, do you still have your 100-400? I finally sold mine last month, after concluding I could no longer live without 600mm.

No, I don't have my 100-400 any longer. I sold it and bought the Tamron 150-600. It suits me better and has given me better results so far.

Really like this image! I like how the Eagle is partially behind some of the leaves, kinda adds the habitaty (new word alert!) feel to the image. :)
