Now, that right thar made me laugh.
That's not the "full" view, that's the "amputated" view!
I know, but I don't want to lose JennaSue! I had the Short View page as my default but it looks too office-like now without the elegant curves of JennaSue.

OhLook insufferably pedantic. I can live with that. 24,838 posts Gallery: 105 photos Best ofs: 2 Likes: 16204 Joined Dec 2012 Location: California: SF Bay Area More info Post edited over 8 years ago by OhLook. | Dec 14, 2014 18:28 | #93 I'm using the full view. I had already hidden more than 50 forums because there's too much to keep up with as it is. The page length is manageable, given the Mac's two-finger scrolling. PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

The customization has led me to organize the forum to easily see what I want to see. So, I am spending less time on POTN, which theoretically is a good thing. What I am missing out on though are the variety of things I used to just stumble on to and read, which I often found interesting. Now I could simply browse around aimlessly and find that same stuff, but there is a difference in planning to do that vs it occurring organically.

This isn't a real problem mind you, not on par with such critical things as font or color, but I do wonder if other folks are finding their POTN time up or down since the change. Just use the NEW at the top, and you could very well still stumble across things in forums you haven't filtered out. I still find things to comment on, but don't have to follow now. They either just want to show off their pictures and get kudos, or buy/sell, or just like to stir the various pots. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery
