Playing with my new Sigma 50 Art. Wish now that I had changed the background but, I still like it.

She's lovely, nice light, but the arms over her head just doesn't work.

I agree with gonzo. To elaborate, the framing of her right arm, in particular, weighs heavy and is distracting to my eye. I think the framing is at the very edge of her forearm, but it gives the illusion that the arm continues farther, suggesting Popeye-like heft. if you cropped it at all in post, you could pull back more to possibly give it a little relief. Yes, the background is a factor. Just my $.02. Otherwise, I like it. Enjoy that lens.

I haven't posted any studio shots here, but hope to soon. I know I can count on everyone here to not pull punches.

Thank you both. The pose and the shirt made her arms look bigger than they are. I tried to crop to minimize them without making it too tight. I still like the shot, but I think I'll keep the arms down next time.
