I love moody clouds, and we actually got a wee bit of rain too! Nowhere near what we need though unfortunately

The dog is Duffy ....

and love seeing the spoonbills. They look quite exotic and I never tire of seeing them ....

More spoonbills - at Waikanae this time, where they seemed much calmer, and we were able to get quite a lot closer to them.

treated myself for my birthday to a new lens , a 7 artisans 60mm macro lens . extremely cheap to buy but superb quality .totally manual . still getting used to it but I would say its on a par with the olympus one for i.q re-learning macro from the start again but its something to do
