Be the uncarved block

Went down to the Wairarapa to look at a house and went to the coast fro a walk. Whangamaiona - not sure of spelling here. Next beach to the east of the township of Lake Ferry. Before the volcano and tsunami, but big sea which doesn't really show here.

on tues i struck a deal with a friend and purchased a nikon 300mm f4 AF-S lens off of him as he suspected the a/f motor was failing .. it came with a nikon to MFT adaptor to .. yesterday after setting the camera up for shooting in M/F and with focus peaking enabled I tried it out to be honest im totally wowed by the results exceeding the hit rate I get with the 100-400 . anyway heres some shots from it below

another two taken in the wood with the pool . this place is the reason I wanted this lens . as during the winter the light levels are so bad that using the 100-400 usually means very high i.s.o levels . so two shots 1-mkiii body and nikon 300mm f4 lens both M/F and handheld
