Nice sky Larry
Learnt something
Always thought Manly was a beach in Sydney. And suburb.
Now find its suburb of Brisbane

Rose that bridge did a good job to hang on with all that debris piled up behind it and on its railings.
Whats the fruit? I gather those are fruit boxes, apples?
Murky looking brew
Signs of a typical bad flood. Not at all good

Yes, was almost surprised to see the bridge, but it was reinforced a while ago, either side and underneath.

Yes bins used for apples and onions .... apples here, but saw onions over at Clive the other day. Two of the main crops grown here. Some vineyards have also been devastated, and covered in silt.

The scenes elsewhere are way worse - houses with silt all through them, and more than halfway up the side .... heartbreaking. One of my patients today is upset because her daughter and family lived in the Esk valley, and their house is inhabitable, so they are living in her house. Tragic.

That does look really bad ,presume the boxes have been washed downstream from farm/ warehouse etc .. hopefully the wildlife will be able to take advantage of it

Yes - there's lots bins been washed down, along with the crops they would normally hold. Many bridges taken out by that sort of debris, including containers and vehicles. Going to be a very long and difficult recovery. I am so lucky, virtually untouched, those pics taken only ten minutes from where I live.

That's a nice natural result for HDR.

Very nicely captured Jeff
Did it drop through being harassed or was the other bird just flying about?
Certainly pulled those off very nicely
