Hard shot to explode as it was in the reeds ... got many others but happy with this one as I managed to get it in a beam of light.

Yes - I can imagine that, although I've seen some nice spring shots in various places.

We have had such a weird summer, I can't help but wonder, and even worry a little, about what winter might bring. I have a load of firewood arriving Monday, and will order another lot once I get the first lot stacked probably .....

couple of meadow pipit shots from yesterday same bird one shot into the light other against it . both shots from the honda hide one from drivers window the other through passenger window

wow what a hectic week took so many shots its hard to sort out ,we have had three days of mega high spring tides coupled with a Atlantic storm surge , the dee estuary marshes have flooded totally for 3 days and its been non stop .. heres a few for now .these are a rare species taking shelter from the tidal surges . they are called twite
