this isn't an excellent photo but when I saw it was at 1/15 second I was amazed at how well it came out.
The image stabilisation was lens only so that says something for the big lens. It was hand held.
The bird flew into my workshop and hung around until I put it out

The unfocused areas have rendered rather nicely also, it is a lens that is in my to get list.

Yes they did.
I had the camera with me in the workshop as I get a lot of birds congregate nearby plus on the dam adjacent and it was setup for bright outdoors, not gloomy indoors. I just rattled off a few shots.
I only use single shots not multi or whatever its called.
I used to take rapid fire but found with care I could get good results on static birds so saved on browsing heaps of photos :-)

I really am getting to love this 60mm macro lens . this is a shot that I think any a/f system camera and lens combo I have had before would struggle with a wasp in flight and sharp to feeling extremely chuffed with this

chuffed I'd be over the pink moon we've just had.
That really is an excellent photo.
I love my 60mm. A brilliant little lense with a big heart :-)
