Mm. Very nice indeed. Beautiful colours and feather details.
Move over Jeff, you've got a serious helper there :-)
Very nice.

Beautiful landscape.
Love the composition of this one.
That would be a miserable to walk on I imagine.

couple of insect shots from yesterday .. having sold my macro lens due to not being flexible enough to go crawling around at low levels due to age .. I had a play with how my tele lenses would cope . these are with the omd-em1 +50-200SWD .. look for the grasshopper on the blade of grass .

You don't need a macro lens! Excellent results.

Certainly don’t and a friend has just sold me a Olympus 25mm extension tube for this rig so when it arrives I’ll get even closer

Still nothing to show due to weather, but this is my survival strap.
If it (lens) falls off now it will be a catastrophic event that affects more than the lens.
I want the 100-400 permanently secured and don't use a tripod.
It has the added extra of softening the feel
Panasonic don't believe in rounded edges like Olympus
It's harness leather. Tough as nails.
Edit : I use the tripod foot to hold the works and
For my use it just comes naturally.
