Hello, I'm Todd Lambert and I'd like to introduce myself and my photography. I have started a new series called "Behind The Shot" in which I go behind the scenes of my photography. Sometimes these will be direct tutorials while other times they will focus on capturing the image, editing it, or just to tell some stories of the adventures I've had while capturing these photos.

I hope you follow along with me.

- Todd

Hi Todd!

Looks like you got a good start with this series, good job. I always admired your twilight shots in the past. I will definitely look in from time to time. A shout out from your old stomping grounds in Huntington Beach.

Robert

BTW if your road ever get to the HB area let me know.

Hey Todd, good start to the series. However if I could make one suggestion it would that besides describing the lens used and how you set up the composition of the shot could you also include some mention of the ISO, shutter speed, etc... used as well? That might help in understand exactly how the shot was created. Good luck.

Great idea, looking forward to it.

When are you heading to the North East?

Thank you Eddie 8-)

kv968, you’re right. I need to do that.

I post full exif images on the web, so they have all that and it's listed on the site as well, so I don't think about that very much.

I'm trying to slowly update my image catalog, to include GPS info for each shot as well. Beyond that, I'd like to start making these types of videos to accompany an image.

Half the fun of taking photos for me, is the adventure that goes along with it. So, Im actively trying to capture some of that as I shoot going forward. So, some of these videos will be instructional or will focus on lens selection, composition, etc.. and others might be a bit off the wall, just depends on the shot and the adventure! 8-)

Thanks again everyone... I love the support, it really helps sometimes more than you know.

- Todd
